Catholic Scouting

St. Anne offers co-ed Catholic Scouting for all students and parishioners! Scouting is fun for the entire family. Catholic Scouting is a great way to encourage your children to put down their electronics and engage in real-life activities that develop a wide range of skills, strengthen their values, and help them grow in their Catholic faith—while having a ton of fun! As parents or guardians, we want what is best for our children—not just now but for the future. We want our children to grow up to be good citizens and faithful Catholics.

Pack 145

Cub Scouting is for grades K-5. Pack 145 is guided by adult Den Leaders & a Cubmaster. Cub Scouting guides a dialogue with youth to develop their individual character and learn how to be responsible, honest, and trustworthy. These are significant life skills that will help them succeed in life in so many areas. Cubs strengthen connections to their local community, which in turn supports their personal growth and development. Cubs work toward earning their highest rank: Arrow of Light (the only patch that can be worn on their Troop uniform in BSA).

Troop 145

Scouts BSA is for 5th grade through high school. Troop 145 offers peer group youth leadership with the counsel of an adult Scoutmaster. Service, community engagement, and leadership development become increasingly important parts of the program as youth lead their own activities and work their way toward earning BSA’s highest rank: Eagle Scout. Joining Troop 145 scouts will also learn about saints through Catholic religious patches and learn more about our faith through two religious emblems that focus on our seven sacraments and our vocations!

Why join St. Anne Scouting family instead of your neighborhood scouting unit?

Here are 3 reasons:

  1. The National Catholic Committee on Scouting awards ten scholarships totaling $27,000!
  2. Pack & Troop 145 keep families in sync with BSA’s Catholic Religious activities, patches & emblems within the Archdiocese of Las Vegas! All such activities are approved by the USCCB: Scouting is Youth Ministry.
  3. SACS Volunteer Hours are available to parents who join as registered leaders of the Scouting program.
