From the Desk of the Principal: March Newsletter

03-01-2019NewsletterMs. Mary Beth Zentner

Looks like we are “March”ing into another great month at St. Anne!

We kick off the month with volleyball season beginning. We look forward to cheering on our Crusaders!

We will be attending mass for Ash Wednesday on the 6th. The students will be participating in Stations of the Cross each Friday in March at 1:30PM in the church. Please join us if you are able.

Following last month’s snow day, the Diocesan Science Fair was rescheduled to the 12th at St. Francis de Sales. This follows the Geography Bee, which will be held at St. Viator on March 5th.

Our annual Book Fair will be held the week of March 18th. Mrs. Solomon has been busy preparing to make this the best Book Fair ever. If you would like to earn some volunteer hours, please let the office know. There will be opportunities to help all week!

The Fun Run is back! Our kick off is March 12th, with the run on March 21st. Please join us at the PTO meeting on March 5th if you have questions. We are continuing to raise money to replace our playground.

Our 2nd graders will be receiving the sacrament of First Reconciliation on March 18th. Please join me in congratulating them on this very special occasion.

As the weather warms, we will be transitioning back to the summer uniform. Students will be back in their shorts and skorts beginning March 18th. For PE, please use your discretion this month- students will be allowed in either shorts or sweats until April.

Registration for the coming 2019-2020 school year is well under way. We are excited to welcome back our returning families! We are now accepting applications from new families and look forward to our school community growing for years to come!

Have a wonderful month, and God Bless,
