Welcome back to a new school year! I hope that you had a very restful summer and that your children are eager to get back to school. There are so many exciting activities going on here at Saint Anne Catholic School. Teachers are getting their classrooms ready, the campus is being spruced up and we are gearing up for “Meet Your Teacher Day” on Monday, August 13th, 2018!

“Meet Your Teacher Day” is a time for you to come on campus, bring your supplies, see your classroom and of course, meet your new teacher! This is not a full day of school. You may come any time between 9AM and noon. This is also a great time to drop off your supplies. It’s always so exciting to see a new classroom and catch up with old friends and meet new ones. We are all excited to welcome you back!

Please note, supply lists are listed here.

Tuesday, August 14th, will be a noon dismissal day.  The After School Program is available for those who are registered ($4 per hour).  Starting August 14th, summer uniform is required.  You can check the uniform standards listed on the website.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, August 15, 16 and 17, are full days of school.  After School Program is from 3PM to 6PM.

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten hours are from 8AM to 2:30PM.  Doors will be open at 7:50 and students should be in the classroom no later than 8AM.  Students who are not picked up by 2:45 will be escorted to the After School Program.  There is a $25 registration fee ($40 for two or more children) for all students using the After Care.  The registration fee will be charged with the first month’s bill upon using the service.

Grades 1 through 8 meet from 7:50AM until 2:45PM.  Any students not picked up by 3:00 will be escorted to the After School Program.  Beginning on Tuesday, August 14th, students may be dropped off at 7AM for the Morning Care Program.  This program is under the direction of Coach Tom Hughes and is in the Gym.  There is no charge for the Morning Care Program.  At 7:45AM, students will be released to their classrooms.  Students in Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten will be escorted to their classrooms.

Students are considered tardy after the bell rings at 8AM.  Please make sure that your child is at school before 8AM so they are not marked tardy.
We are beginning new drop off procedures to ensure the safety of our children.  For Morning Care, you will need to park in the church parking lot and accompany your child to the gym to sign in.  Please allow a few extra minutes for this.  For normal drop off, you will need to park in the church parking lot if you want to accompany your child to the classroom.  For drop off, please enter on the east side of the faculty parking lot and proceed through the lot to drop your child at the pedestrian gate to enter school grounds.  Students will exit cars and proceed through the gate.  Parents will then exit the parking lot through the west exit. All student belongings should be in the vehicle with them.  Please do not park in the faculty lot.

Enjoy your last days of summer vacation.  While it’s hard to let lazy days go, we are excited about the new school year and all the fun and excitement it brings!

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Abigale Carpenter to 5th grade and Mrs. Sheila Solomon to our library.  Mrs. Harris will be our new PreK teacher, assisted by Miss Sandra and Mrs. Moreno.  Miss Stewart will be heading up our Fine Arts curriculum in our brand new Weigand Fine Arts Center (Formerly Harrington Hall).

The school office is open each weekday, from 7:30AM-3:00PM.  Please call or stop by if you have any questions.  We look forward to seeing everyone on the 13th!
