From the Desk of the Principal: November Newsletter

11-01-2017NewslettersMs. Mary Beth Zentner

Thank you to all for a wonderful October.  With the coming of November, the school is celebrating an amazing Fun Fair weekend.  We have so much gratitude to our entire school community for the support and assistance with this event.  We couldn’t do it without you!  While we are still calculating the final numbers, we can share that our Silent Auction was the most successful we have had in the last three years, bringing in almost $7500!

Winter uniforms begin on Wednesday, November 1st.  This is also All Saints Day, a Holy Day of Obligation.  Our students will be attending mass as a school community at 9AM.  We welcome our parents to join us!

Our school picture day is the 7th and all students need to wear their winter uniform for pictures.  PE uniforms will not be worn on picture day.

Our first trimester ends on Friday, November 3rd.  Look for Report Cards to be distributed soon after.  Most of the kinks of our new gradebook have been ironed out, but we are still learning a few things.  If you have not logged on to the portals, please make sure you do.   We can always help you in the office.

We observe Veteran’s Day Friday, November 10th.  It may be a day off school, but please take a moment to remember those who have served our country so we might live in freedom.

After-school activities continue this month, with boys’ basketball, choir, Spanish and Engineering is Fun.

Wishing you all a wonderful month and a very Happy Thanksgiving.  During this time when we reflect on what we are thankful for, I hope you know how thankful I am for all of you!

Please continue to check the school website for updates and follow us on Facebook.

  • God bless,
  • Mary Beth Zentner, Principal
