From the Desk of the Principal: September Newsletter

09-01-2017NewslettersMs. Mary Beth Zentner

Blessings to you as we go into our Fall season at Saint Anne Catholic School.   While it has not yet started to cool off, we are looking forward to Fall and all the fun activities that come with it!

September begins with our Labor Day Holiday and an extra day off for students as the teachers attend an In Service at Bishop Gorman High School on the 5th.  When classes resume on the 6th, we also begin our Volleyball season!  Our students have been practicing in the afternoons and we can’t wait to cheer the Crusaders on as they take on the other Catholic Schools in the Diocese!

September is also the month for our Terra Nova testing. Testing Week begins September 18. Please remember to be on time each morning and make sure your child is getting a good night’s sleep each night.

7th grade will be enjoying Pizza with the Priests on Friday, September 22 and our PTO continues to offer a Snack Shack on Fridays during lunch.

8th grade fundraising will begin this month. Please support our 8th graders as they begin to raise the money for the their annual trip to Disneyland.

Thank you to everyone for getting our new year off to a wonderful beginning!  It is so wonderful to have the students back- it is way too quiet around here during the summer!  Please be reminded the school day begins promptly at 8AM.  It is important that all students are in their classrooms on time to begin the day.  We are having a bit too many tardies and would really like to see those decrease. Thank you so much for your support!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns my door is always open.  Also, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher with questions as well. We look forward to a terrific year!
