From the Desk of the Principal: February Newsletter

02-01-2019NewsletterMs. Mary Beth Zentner

And just like that, January has flown by, making way for lots of February fun!

As we end Catholic Schools Week, I want to express my continued appreciation for the sacrifices you make to send your child to Saint Anne. We are so blessed to have these wonderful children with us every day. They are a bright light in a very complicated world!

I hope you’ve been dusting off those lab coats and goggles, because we have two science fairs coming up this month! The Saint Anne Science Fair will be held on Thursday, February 7th, and our winners will then head to the Diocesan Science Fair on Thursday, February 21st. Come cheer on your fellow Crusaders and learn some new things!

Congratulations to our Spelling Bee participants:
8th: Aarron Mangio, Stephanie Mendez
7th:  Miranda Loos, Vincent Machado, Dylan Keene
6th:  Jovani Kalandos, Gigi Gonzalez, Natielle Martinez
5th:  Devin Keene, Jasmine Bermudez
Special shout out to Mrs. Carpenter and Mrs. Charles for their great work assisting our participants!

Girls Basketball continues.  Our Lady Crusaders have been doing a great job.  If you haven’t been to a game, be sure to make one.  It’s a great time supporting our kids!

On February 12th, at 9AM, we will be welcoming the Las Vegas Lights for an assembly kicking off a math incentive they will be partnering with us on.  Teachers will be sending home details explaining this terrific opportunity for our students!

Reading Week begins at the end of the month.  Look for additional information to come home.

Happy February!  We look forward to seeing you on campus and at our various activities.

God bless,
Ms. Zentner, Principal
