Happy New Year and Welcome to 2019!

I hope you have had a wonderful, restful Christmas Holiday. As we begin the second half of the school year, we have much to look forward to as the New Year commences.

Our 8th grade will be taking their graduation photos on January 8 – there is nothing like cap and gown pictures to realize graduation is just around the corner for our oldest Crusaders! Kindergarten will also take graduation photos on the 8th as well.

We will be looking forward to Catholic Schools Week, which occurs beginning January 27. The week will be full of fun activities and service projects that focus on the theme for this year: “Catholic Schools: Learn, Serve, Lead, Succeed”. Look for more information to come in early January.

The 8th Grade’s Pasta Night fundraiser takes place on Saturday, January 26.  Who doesn’t like some tasty pasta and garlic bread?  We hope to see everyone there for this wonderful family event starting at 5PM.

The Diocesan Spelling Bee takes place on Tuesday, January 22 at Bishop Gorman High School.  Come support our participants at the event which begins at 3:30 in the theatre.  Special thanks to Mrs. Carpenter and Mrs. Charles for their hard work in helping our students prepare for this competition.

After-school activities continue this month, with girls basketball beginning and Comedy Sportz.  Grade 3 will also be enjoying Pizza with the Priests on Friday, January 18th.

Again, we wish you a very Happy New Year!  January is always a time for beginnings and we here at Saint Anne, look forward to the beginning of 2019 and the continuation of our school year.  Your children are the best part of our day!  Thank you for all your continued support!

Please continue to check the school website for updates and follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

God bless,
Mary Beth Zentner, Principal
