It is hard to believe the school year is rapidly coming to a close. The year seems to have flown by! As we approach our last day there are many exciting events coming our way.

May Crowning is Friday, May 4th. Please join us at our Mass as we honor Mary, our mother. We will also begin saying a morning rosary each morning to start our day. May 5th is a big day for our 2nd graders as they receive the Holy Eucharist for the first time at 11:00am. Special thanks to Mrs. Duffy for all her hard work and preparation with her students.

May 16th is our annual Field Day. There will be all kinds of fun events for the students led by our 8th grade.

Happy Spring!

It is wonderful to see the blue skies of April upon us. What a wonderful time of year and even more so as we celebrate the Easter season! The days are getting longer and we are rapidly approaching the end of our school year.

As we return from our vacations, there are many things to look forward to this month and next. Choir and Spanish Club continue as does our Sports Program. The Track Meet will be held on April 12th at Bishop Gorman High School and Softball will be starting as well.

And just like that, January has flown by, making way for lots of February fun!

As we continue Catholic Schools Week, I want to express my continued appreciation for the sacrifices you make to send your child to Saint Anne. We are so blessed to have these wonderful children with us every day. They are a bright light in a very complicated world!

We have had a great time celebrating Catholic Schools Week, with dress up days and a trip to the All Schools Mass for our 7th and 8th graders. Did you see the rainbow we made on Monday?

Happy New Year and Welcome to 2018!

I hope you have had a wonderful, restful Christmas Holiday. As we begin the second half of the school year, we have much to look forward to as the New Year commences.

Our 8th grade will be taking their graduation photos on January 9th – there is nothing like cap and gown pictures to realize graduation is just around the corner for our oldest Crusaders!

Our candy fundraiser continues this month through January 17th. Remember each child earns 2 free dress passes for each box sold.

We will be looking forward to Catholic School’s Week, which occurs beginning January 28th, with an Open House kickoff that Sunday from 9AM –Noon. The week will be full of fun activities and service projects that focus on the theme for this year: “Catholic Schools: Learn, Serve, Lead, Succeed. It’s the most wonderful time of the year!  We hope you all had a wonderful, restful Thanksgiving Holiday.  As we begin the season of Advent, looking forward to the birth of Jesus, we have much to be thankful for and much to anticipate!

We kick off our month with the Reindeer Lane Holiday Bazaar returning to Saint Anne.  The bazaar will take place on December 5-6.  Students will be able to shop for holiday gifts for friends and family at this student-friendly event.  All proceeds go to help with school operating expenses.

Look for Santa to make an appearance around this time as well!  Word on the street is he will help us kick off our bazaar and perhaps leave some treats for Saint Nicholas Day on the 6th!

Thank you to all for a wonderful October.  With the coming of November, the school is celebrating an amazing Fun Fair weekend.  We have so much gratitude to our entire school community for the support and assistance with this event.  We couldn’t do it without you!  While we are still calculating the final numbers, we can share that our Silent Auction was the most successful we have had in the last three years, bringing in almost $7500!

Winter uniforms begin on Wednesday, November 1st.  This is also All Saints Day, a Holy Day of Obligation.  Our students will be attending mass as a school community at 9AM.  We welcome our parents to join us!

Our school picture day is the 7th and all students need to wear their winter uniform for pictures.  PE uniforms will not be worn on picture day.

Welcome to October and the beauty of the Fall Season!

With Halloween on the horizon, we promise this month is full of fun, not frights.

Before looking forward, I want to congratulate all of our students on a job well done on September’s Terra Nova Testing! Testing week is always a bit tedious, but everyone did very well.  Thank you to all the parents for their support in getting the students to school on time and well rested!

October is chock full of fun activities here at Saint Anne!  We start off the month with our annual Fright Night, sponsored by the PTO.  Join us on October 4th to kick off the month and enjoy a terrific evening of frights and fun.  We will have Zombie Dogs food truck, a DJ, costume contest, trunk or treat and loads of family fun.  We need help and candy donations – please stop by the office to sign up!

September is also the month for our Terra Nova testing. Testing Week begins September 18. Please remember to be on time each morning and make sure your child is getting a good night’s sleep each night.

Welcome back to a new school year! I hope that you had a restful summer and that your children are eager to get back to school. There are so many exciting activities going on here at Saint Anne Catholic School. Teachers are getting their classrooms ready, the campus is being spruced up and we are gearing up for “Meet Your Teacher Day” on Monday, August 14th, 2017!

“Meet Your Teacher Day” is a time for you to come on campus, bring your supplies, see your classroom and of course, meet your new teacher! This is not a full day of school. You may come any time between 9 and noon. This is also a great time to drop off your supplies. It’s always so exciting to see a new classroom and catch up with old friends and meet new ones. We are all excited to welcome you back! Please note, supply lists are listed on the website.

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Summer!  We are excited to welcome the heat and excitement of summer vacation.  We hope you all enjoy a wonderful break from the school routine.

We are busy preparing for the next year and wanted to share some updates with you.

First of all, welcome to our new 6th grade teacher, Pamela Charles.  Mrs. Charles has an extensive background in Catholic education having volunteered and worked at St. Viator for a number of years in numerous capacities.   She was also a presence at Saint Anne last year as a Reading Specialist in our lower grades.  She holds a Degree in Chemistry and Mathematics and is currently working toward a master’s degree in Special Education.  She has worked with CCSD and has completed the CCSD Alternate Route to Licensure.  We know you will join us in welcoming Mrs. Charles to our St. Anne school community.
