Thank you to all for a wonderful October.  With the coming of November, the school is celebrating an amazing Fun Fair weekend.  We have so much gratitude to our entire school community for the support and assistance with this event.  We couldn’t do it without you!  While we are still calculating the final numbers, we can share that our Silent Auction was the most successful we have had in the last three years, bringing in almost $7500!

Winter uniforms begin on Wednesday, November 1st.  This is also All Saints Day, a Holy Day of Obligation.  Our students will be attending mass as a school community at 9AM.  We welcome our parents to join us!

Our school picture day is the 7th and all students need to wear their winter uniform for pictures.  PE uniforms will not be worn on picture day.

Welcome to October and the beauty of the Fall Season!

With Halloween on the horizon, we promise this month is full of fun, not frights.

Before looking forward, I want to congratulate all of our students on a job well done on September’s Terra Nova Testing! Testing week is always a bit tedious, but everyone did very well.  Thank you to all the parents for their support in getting the students to school on time and well rested!

October is chock full of fun activities here at Saint Anne!  We start off the month with our annual Fright Night, sponsored by the PTO.  Join us on October 4th to kick off the month and enjoy a terrific evening of frights and fun.  We will have Zombie Dogs food truck, a DJ, costume contest, trunk or treat and loads of family fun.  We need help and candy donations – please stop by the office to sign up!

Blessings to you as we go into our Fall season at Saint Anne Catholic School.   While it has not yet started to cool off, we are looking forward to Fall and all the fun activities that come with it!

September begins with our Labor Day Holiday and an extra day off for students as the teachers attend an In Service at Bishop Gorman High School on the 5th.  When classes resume on the 6th, we also begin our Volleyball season!  Our students have been practicing in the afternoons and we can’t wait to cheer the Crusaders on as they take on the other Catholic Schools in the Diocese!

September is also the month for our Terra Nova testing. Testing Week begins September 18. Please remember to be on time each morning and make sure your child is getting a good night’s sleep each night.

Welcome back to a new school year! I hope that you had a restful summer and that your children are eager to get back to school. There are so many exciting activities going on here at Saint Anne Catholic School. Teachers are getting their classrooms ready, the campus is being spruced up and we are gearing up for “Meet Your Teacher Day” on Monday, August 14th, 2017!

“Meet Your Teacher Day” is a time for you to come on campus, bring your supplies, see your classroom and of course, meet your new teacher! This is not a full day of school. You may come any time between 9 and noon. This is also a great time to drop off your supplies. It’s always so exciting to see a new classroom and catch up with old friends and meet new ones. We are all excited to welcome you back! Please note, supply lists are listed on the website.

Welcome to Summer!  We are excited to welcome the heat and excitement of summer vacation.  We hope you all enjoy a wonderful break from the school routine.

We are busy preparing for the next year and wanted to share some updates with you.

First of all, welcome to our new 6th grade teacher, Pamela Charles.  Mrs. Charles has an extensive background in Catholic education having volunteered and worked at St. Viator for a number of years in numerous capacities.   She was also a presence at Saint Anne last year as a Reading Specialist in our lower grades.  She holds a Degree in Chemistry and Mathematics and is currently working toward a master’s degree in Special Education.  She has worked with CCSD and has completed the CCSD Alternate Route to Licensure.  We know you will join us in welcoming Mrs. Charles to our St. Anne school community.
