Announcing our New Prinicpal and Vice Principal

06-13-2019NewsletterMsgr. Gregory W. Gordon

Dear Saint Anne School Parents,

I am very pleased to announce the hiring of St. Anne's new principal, Abigale Carpenter, beginning this 2019-2020 school year. Most of you are already familiar with Mrs. Carpenter, as we welcomed her last year as out fifth grade teacher. Mrs. Carpenter's qualifications for her new role include a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Ohio Dominican University, with her Principal's licensure. In addition, her extensive experience as a lead teacher for six year will be invaluable as we advance the programs of our school. Mrs. Carpenter has been a wonderful addition to St. Anne, and her continued contributions as Principal portend to be outstanding.

Principal's Corner

We met with a few of you, along with our teachers over the past few weeks. During this transition, we are prioritizing a few things:

  • Being prepared for next school year
  • Having open lines of communication
  • Ensuring transparency in our budget

Fun Fare proceeds to be used for summer projects ($30,000 plus donation of $4,000)

  • Privacy screening will be installed on the fence along Bonita Avenue.
  • Playground equipment will be repaired or replaced as needed.
  • Carpets in PreK and Kindergarten: looking at carpets in all classrooms to see which one needs replacement and making a schedule to replace several of them over the next few years.
